Steep Turns and Power Off Stalls

Steep Turns / Power Off Stalls / Ground Reference Maneuvers / Steep Turns were a little more steep than expected ... Pulled 2 G's today in the Cessna 152 ... Not exactly fighter pilot G's ... But none the less ... G's ... Jay paid me a complement today ... He said that he felt that I had much improved control of the plane on this flight ... And that flying seems to suit me pretty well ... Had been a long time since someone had paid me an unsolicited compliment ... Made my day ... Reminds me to point out a great job to others more often ... Flew over my home today ... Neighborhood seems very different form 2500'

Met one of my neighbors at our neighborhood home poker game ... Come to find out Micheal is a pilot and has a plane at the local airport ... Chit Chatted with Micheal for almost the entire night about flying and his airplane ... Definitely more Airplane talk than Poker talk between Micheal and I ... Micheal was nice enough to invite me to take a ride in his Cessna 310 ... Fun Airplane ... Likes to Climb and Climb and Climb ... St Augustine Airport looks much different from the runways vs passing by on the road ... Flew over my home and also down town St Augustine ... What a great day ... Thanks Micheal ...
